Garden City, N.Y. - Senior goalkeeper Devin Schneiderbauer (Pepperell, MA) and sophomore midfielder Claire Petersen (Wantagh, N.Y.) were selected as Adelphi Athletes of the Week for April 26.

Schneiderbauer notched a pair of wins last week as he allowed just five goals against. In Adelphi's 13-7 victory over AIC, Schneiderbauer logged 40 minutes in net, making fi ve stops and giving up just three goals. He then played 45 minutes in goal against FPU, collecting eight saves and allowing just two goals. For his efforts Schneiderbauer was named Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week and ECAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Petersen tallied nine goals and 10 assists for 19 points to lead the Panthers to a 2-0 week. She had four goals and seven assists against New Haven and five goals and three assists against Southern New Hampshire. She also totaled six groundballs on the week. For her efforts Petersen was named Northeast-10 Player of The Week and ECAC Offensive Player of the Week.
