Third-Seeded Women's Tennis Falls To Second-Seeded Stonehill, 5-2

The third-seeded Adelphi University women's tennis team traveled to Stonehill College on Friday afternoon to take on the second-seeded Skyhawks in the Northeast-10 semifinals. Stonehill held on for the 5-2 victory. The Panthers are 15-3 overall on the season.

Freshman Maria Toft was involved in both wins for the Panthers on the afternoon. Toft won her top-flight singles match, 6-0, 6-0, and also teamed up with junior Alda Ribeiro to win at top-flight doubles, 9-7.

The Panthers will now wait for an at-large big into the NCAA Tournament when they are released on Wednesday, April 28.
