The Adelphi University women's tennis team traveled to Springfield, Massachusetts to take on American International College on Tuesday afternoon. Adelphi blanked the Yellow Jackets, 9-0, and improved to 13-2 and 10-2 in the conference.

Freshman Maria Toft and junior Alda Ribeiro opened up doubles play with a convincing 8-0 victory, which was followed up by freshman Michelle Gurda and junior Jamie Sussman winning at #2 doubles, 8-0. The Panthers won at #3 doubles by forfeit.

Adelphi won every match during singles play, 8-0, in pro-sets. Toft won at #1 singles, followed by Ribeiro, Gurda, and Sussman, respectively. The Panthers collected two more forfeit victories at #5 and #6 singles.

The Panthers return to action on Saturday, April 17 when they host Le Moyne College at 11:00 a.m. in final regular season match.
