The Adelphi University women's tennis team traveled to Waltham, Massachusetts Saturday afternoon to take on Bentley University. Adelphi went on to edge the Falcons, 5-4. The win improves AU to 12-1 and 9-1 in the Northeast-10, while Bentley falls to 7-7 and 6-3.

The Panthers took the first two during doubles play with Maria Toft and Alda Ribeiro earning the 8-5 win. Nicole Byrnes and Michelle Gurda followed up at #2 doubles with an 8-2 victory.

Toft and Ribeiro both won 6-0, 6-1 at #1 and #2 singles, respectively, while Amanda Aniboli won in three sets at #4 singles (7-5 4-6 6-3).

The Panthers return to action tomorrow when they travel to Easton, Massachusetts to take on Stonehill College at 1:00 p.m.
