The home plate umpire awarded Rhodes home and Craig to third on an interference call. Craig scored on an error by Kelly Losi as she attempted to nail Salerno at second.
Both squads tacked on one-run apiece to make it a 5-3 contest after four innings of play. Saint Michael's scored in the second on a hit by Egan as the Panthers trimmed the Purple Knights lead, 5-3, as Liz Lindner scored on a fielding error by Egan. Lindner pinch-ran for Deandra Leo, who leadoff the fourth with a double to left-center.
With two-outs in the Panthers' fifth, McLaughlin robbed Deandra Leo of a RBI base-hit and a chance for Adelphi to creep closer as she snagged Leo's grounder tagging out Gina DeTillio heading for third.
Frank earned the win allowing one run on six hits in seven innings as Robinson took the loss allowing one five runs, on four hits in two innings. Bell relieved Robinson pitching five scoreless innings fanning five.
