The next batter, Corrao singled through the left side advancing Martinez to second. Robinson induced Garrison to ground out to Ashley Vinti for the second out, however, Gallady pinch-hit for Brielle Kerscher and she roped the two-RBI single to center to tie the game.

The Panthers would get on the board first as Robinson doubled to left center scoring pinch-runner Emily Dorko. Adelphi plated their second run in the top of the sixth as freshman Paige Rhodes delivered a RBI single scoring Robinson from third.

Rhodes batted 2-for-2 with one RBI and one run scored.

The Panthers squandered their best opportunity in the bottom of the sixth with one-out and two runners on base. Noren led-off the inning with a double to left field as Craig walked one batter later. The Chargers' hurler Delaney Childers struck out Amanda Dolan looking and induced Salerno to ground out.

The Panthers escaped a jam in the top of the fifth as Dominican had the bases loaded with one- out. Childers flied out to Noren and she made a strong throw home which held Corraro at third base for the second out. Adelphi hurler Leighann Bell induced Piasecki to ground out to short ending the inning.
