The Adelphi University men's tennis team hosted the Greyhounds of Assumption College Saturday afternoon in a Northeast-10 Conference match. The Panthers went on to win, 7-2, and improve to 4-0 overall and in the league.

Senior Bandar Kayali and junior Anton Voynov went on to win at #1 and #2 singles, respectively for the Panthers. Freshman Adrish Tewarie (#3 singles) and junior Leonard Bruno (#4 singles) collected the two other singles wins for Adelphi.

The Panthers swept doubles play, which propelled them to the victory. Voynov/Bandar teamed up at #1 doubles for an 8-4 victory, while Bruno/Gaetan Georges won at #2 doubles, 9-7. Junior Joseph Carbone/Tewarie rounded out doubles play with an 8-6 victory at #3 doubles.

The Panthers return to action on Friday, March 26 when they host non-conference opponent Dowling College at 2:00 pm.
