The Adelphi University women's tennis team traveled to Pace University on Saturday for a Northeast-10 Conference match. The Panthers defeated the Setters, 9-0, improving to 8-0 and 6-0 in the NE-10, while Pace falls to 0-2 and 0-2 in the league.

Freshman Maria Toft and junior Alda Ribeiro earned victories (6-0. 6-1) at #1 and #2 singles, respectively. Sophomore Carolyn Smith collected a 6-0, 6-0 victory at #4 singles.

The team of Toft and Ribeiro posted an 8-0 victory at #1 doubles, while junior Nicole Byrnes/freshman Michelle Gurda and Smith/junior Megan Margino both had 8-3 victories at #2 and #3 doubles, repectively.

The Panthers return to action on Thursday, March 18 when they travel to take on Holy Family University at 3:00 p.m.
