Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's volleyball team hosted CACC member Georgian Court on Tuesday, November 2, while celebrating Senior Night. The Panthers overwhelmed Georgian Court, winning the kills battle, 38-14 on the way to a, 3-0 victory. With the win Adelphi improves to 16-10, while Georgian Court falls to 12-17.

The Panthers won set one, 25-11 behind 13 kills and an attack percentage of .423, and matched that kill total in a 24-14 set two victory. The third and final set of the match was a 25-13 Panther win, that saw Adelphi post an attack percentage of .333, while Georgian Court countered with a -.130.

Hilary Pavels led the way with 15 kills and seven digs, while Patawe Simms and Chelsea Overholt added seven kills each. Heather Mau led all players with 21 assists and 11 digs.

Adelphi returns to action on Friday, November 5 when they travel to Rindge, New Hampshire for a 7:00 pm contest with Franklin Pierce.
