Garden City, NY - Freshamn Issa Tall (Mulhouse, France) and sophmore Lucia Vigliotti (Westbury, N.Y.) have been named Adelphi's Athletes of the Week for the week of September 28, 2009.

Tall scored three goals in a pair of games last week. He had a hand in all three goals in Adelphi's win over Sacred Heart, scoring twice and assisting on another goal. He also scored the game winner in Adelphi's 2-1 win over Stony Brook, pushing his season total to four goals and one assist for nine points.

Men's Soccer returns to action Wednesday, September 30 at 4 PM away at St. Peter's.

Vigliotti led Adelphi to a 3-0 week, posting two shutouts. The first shutout came against cross-town rival C.W. Post, 1-0, where she recorded five saves. In a 4-0 win over Saint Anselm she stopped the only shot she faced, while setting aside two shots in a 4-1 win over Saint Michael's.

Field Hockey returns to action Wednesday, September 30 at 4 PM away at Southern Connecticut State for a conference match.
