Game One
The Spartans jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the second inning with Joy Ferriello scoring on an RBI single by Michelle Sasso. However the next batter grounded out to the shortstop, leaving two runners stranded. The Panthers pushed the lead to 4-0 in the second. Then in the fourth inning, senior Jessica Vogt's first at-bat resulted in a solo homerun to add to the tally. In the seventh inning, another STAC error helped score Brennan who reached on a double. Vogt, who was 2-for-4 in the game, crossed the plate for the final run.
Sophomore Leighann Bell pitched the two-hitter, walking one while fanning five.
