The Brown and Gold Extinguish The Prairie Fire

Orlando, FL - In their third outing of spring break tour of Florida, Adelphi Men's Tennis went up against the Prairie Fire of Knox College. The Racketmen were unanimous in their approach against Knox, each Panther victorious for a 9-0 win. The decision moves the Panthers to 3-1 thus far, and 2-1 in the Sunshine State.

The Panthers allowed only six games against in doubles as a team, including an 8-1 decision by Leonard Bruno and Bandar Kayali in the third spot.

The Racketmen showed even more strength in singles, only allowing two games against with four unblemished victories. Sebastian Nieves led off for the Panthers with a 6-0, 6-0 decision against Knox's Jared Katchen and Tomasz Walczak followed with the same result against Sam Frank. Alex Molotsky, Anton Voynov, Kayali and Joseph Carbone closed the singles competition with wins in that order.

The Brown and Gold will draw Northeast-10's Merrimack College next, 12:00 pm on March 18.
