Adelphi put the game out of reach in the 77th minute as Kemalie Preston played a ball through a Sacred Heart defense that was pushing up field. Figueiredo was able to run onto Preston's ball and found himself one-on-one with Jones and beat the Pioneer netminder easily.
Holder made three saves in the win, while Jones picked up four. The Panthers out shot Sacred Heart 19-12 and collected 12 corner kicks to the Pioneers 3.
