Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University baseball team played host to Queens College on Sunday, April 27 in the final contest of a three game series on William J. Bonomo Memorial Field. The Panthers forced extra innings in the bottom of the ninth and a Mike Testani single in the 13th brought across the winning run. With the win Adelphi improves to 20-22 overall and 11-12 in the East Coast Conference.

Queens forced Adelphi to play catch up from the start, putting three runs on the board in the top of the second. The Panthers got one back in the bottom of the third when Ryan Boelsen grounded out with two men on, scoring Rob Paccione.

Matt Kenney singles in the bottom of the fourth and the sixth helped Adelphi knot the game at three all. Back-to-back Queens home runs in the top of the ninth put the Knights back on top, 5-4.
