Women's Soccer Wins One More In Bronxville, New York

Bronxville, NY - Adelphi traveled to Bronxville, New York to make up an ECC match against Concordia. The Panthers scored a season high eight goals, defeating Concordia, 8-0. With the win, Adelphi improves 12-5 overall, 7-3 in the ECC, while the Clippers end their season 0-15, 0-9 in the ECC.

Eight different girls scored during the match, with the first happening in the third minute when Caitlin Morrison (Beacon, NY) scored unassisted. Six minutes later off a corner kick, Denise Auer (Holbrook, NY) connected with Brianne McDonnell (Commack, N.Y.) for a header into the left corner of the net.

The Panthers would score three more times during the first half on efforts by Lauren Slattery (Nashua, NH), Auer, and Emily Dunne (Fairfield, CT).

The offensive continued in the second half when senior Kristin Waldman (East Meadow, NY) scored unassisted in the 46th minute. The Panthers went on to score twice more in the match with goals by Jessica Baisley (Shoreham-Wading River, N.Y.) and Karen Roveto (Old Bethpage, N.Y.)

Christine Conway (Rockville Centre, NY) made one save in her ECC win, while Clipper's goalkeeper, Mary Darbee, made six saves in her loss.
