Bridgeport, CT - The Adelphi University volleyball team traveled to Bridgeport, Connecticut on Thursday, October 25 to take on East Coast Conference opponent Bridgeport. The Panthers swept the Purple Knights in straight sets, improving to 23-5 overall and 6-2 in the ECC, while Bridgeport falls to 19-14 overall and 3-5 in conference play.

The first two games of the match were tight, with the Panthers coming out on top, 30-28 and 21-29. However, Adelphi had no problems in the third game, taking the match with a 30-22 victory in game three.

Lauren Flanagan led the Adelphi attack with 13 kills, while Kathleen Carney and Audrey Goss chipped in eight kills apiece. Brittany Addeo had a game high 32 assists and Amy Williams and Heather Mau posted 11 and 10 digs respectively.

Adelphi will look to extend its win streak to nine games when they face Assumption on Saturday, October 27 in Worcester, Massachusetts.
