USP Box Score/Nyack Box Score

Nyack, N.Y. - The Adelphi volleyball team traveled to Nyack, New York on Saturday, September 16 to take on Nyack College and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP). The Panthers left Nyack with a split and are now 9-3 overall.

Adelphi came out strong in their first match, taking the first game from USP 30-17. However, than the Panthers faltered dropping the next three games (24-30, 23-30 and 30-32) and the match. Lauren Flanagan (Boulder, CO) led Adelphi with 12 kills, while teammate Kelly Campbell (Hicksville, N.Y.) chipped in 10. Brittany Addeo (Minden, NV) contributed 31 assists and five aces.

The Panthers took care of host Nyack in three games (30-15, 30-20, and 30-23) to come away with a split on the day. Jessica Walsh (West Hempstead, N.Y.) paced Adelphi with nine kills, while Kathleen Creegan (North Bellmore, N.Y.) added seven.

Volleyball returns to action on Thursday, September 21 when they travel to West Haven, Connecticut for a 7:00 pm showdown with New Haven.
