Final Stats

Oakdale, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's basketball team picked up its fourth straight win with a 73-55 victory over Dowling College on Wednesday evening. The Panthers improve to 15-11 on the season and 14-9 in the NYCAC.

Senior Melanie Mangone (Middle Village, N.Y.) led the Panthers with 17 points and seven rebounds. Freshman Gianna Smith (Hempstead, N.Y.) contributed 16 points and nine rebounds. Junior Carlyshia Hurdle (Brentwood, N.Y.) recorded her fifth consecutive double-double with 15 points and 12 boards.

Adelphi returns to action on Saturday, February 26, hosting Philadelphia University in its regular season finale. Saturday's game is also Alumni Day and Senior Day for the Panthers. The women's game time is 5:30 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m.
