Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi gave up eight runs in the seventh and five in the eighth, including four home runs in their 17-1 loss to C.W. Post. With the loss Adelphi falls to 18-18 overall and 9-8 in the conference, while the Pioneers improve to 16-15-1 overall and 11-9 in the NYCAC.

The Panthers fell behind 4-0 after the first two innings but got on the board in the bottom of the fourth, pulling to within 4-1. But C.W. Post went on a tear the next two innings, scoring a combined 13 runs to pull and eventually win 17-1.

Adelphi returns to action Friday, April 30th when they play host to visiting Bridgeport at 3:00 pm.
