Waltham, Mass. - Adelphi University scored the first six goals of the game and senior attack Karen Sulinski (Huntington, N.Y.) scored four goals and added three assists as the Division II number one-ranked Panthers downed Bentley College 18-4 in women's lacrosse action Sunday afternoon in Waltham.

Adelphi improved to 11-0 on the season and Bentley wrapped up its regular season at 6-6 overall.

Ten different Panthers scored goals, with freshmen Lauren Lopez (Farmingville, N.Y.), Diana Lopez (Farmingville, N.Y.), Catherine Perez (Lyndhurst, N.J.) and sophomore Jayna Kyriacou (West Hempstead, N.Y.) each netting a pair.

Adelphi scored six goals in the first seven minutes, and ran off nine more before the break to take a 15-3 lead into the intermission. Sulinski scored three times and assisted on three other Panther goals in the first half and teammate Katherine Hock (Mineola, N.Y.) netted a pair in the first 20 minutes.

For Bentley, sophomore Caroline Ford (Simsbury, Conn./Simsbury HS) scored a goal and added an assist and junior Shandra Bacher (Concord, N.H./Concord HS) netted a goal and chipped in two assists. Joining Bacher and Ford in the scoring column were freshmen Katelyn Barry (Hopkinton/Hopkinton HS) and Kellyn Riccitelli (Cheshire, Conn./Cheshire HS).

Adelphi goalie Allyson Murphy (Williston Park, N.Y.) made seven saves in the win. Bentley's Lisa Cavallo (Hopkinton/Hoplkinton HS) made 14 saves and held Adelphi to just three second half goals.

The Panthers finish the regular season at home next Saturday, May 1, hosting cross-town rival C.W. Post at 12:00 p.m.
