Orlando, Fla. - Freshman Sheila Feldman had nine strikeouts in route to her first collegiate shutout as the Adelphi Softball team topped Bellermine, 4-0, at the Rebel Games. In the second game of the afternoon, the Panthers fell to Merrimack College, 2-1. Adelphi's record is now 3-1.

Against Bellermine, junior Theresa Kotulak was 2-for-3 with a double. Juniors Ashley Spreer and Tara Rice each chipped in an RBI in the third inning. Feldman also had an RBI.

Sophomore Carla Buonviaggio had five strikeouts versus Merrimack. She followed up with a double, which allowed Kotulak to score.

The Panthers are off on Tuesday, and return to action this Wednesday, facing Kutztown University and St. Xavier College.
