Baseball Rolls Past Dominican, 16-5

Homestead, Fla. - Junior pitcher Tom Cinelli picked up his first career win to lift the Adelphi University baseball team to a 16-7 victory over Dominican College this afternoon. Sophomore Mike Thompson shut the door with three scoreless innings. The Panthers improve to 3-3 on the season.

In an all-around solid effort, sophomore Doug Anderson picked up three runs for Adelphi. Seniors Michel Joyce and Chris Alverez along with sophomore Thomas Cali each had three hits. Freshman Mike Myers collected his first collegiate hit, finishing with two on the day along with a sacrifice fly.

The Panthers are back in action tomorrow as they finish their spring trip against Mount Saint Mary's.
