Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi's Roger Mischel (Whitestone, N.Y.) gave up just two earned runs, while striking out eight in the Panthers 7-2 win over Mercy. The win gave Adelphi their first league win and improves their overall record to 8-6, while Mercy falls to 1-10 overall.

Adelphi scored two runs in the second inning to take a 2-0 lead and added a run in the fifth and six innings to push their edge to 5-2. Matt DeWitt (North Bellmore, N.Y.) had a solid day for the Panthers at the plate going 2-4 with two RBI's.

Adelphi returns to action Sunday, March 28th when they travel to Felician for a doubleheader. Action is set to start at 1 pm.
