Shippensburg, PA - Senior Marissa Cotilletta notched a hat trick en route to the Panthers 3-0 victory over No. 23 Shippensburg University this Sunday afternoon. Adelphi, with its second shutout in as many games, improves to 2-1-1. The Lady Raiders see their four game streak come to an end, dropping to 4-1.

Cotilletta scored the first of her career high three goals unassisted. Junior Josephine Coiro and senior Luciana Pace each assisted in the last two goals.

No. 21 ranked Adelphi provided little opportunity for the Lady Raiders to score, as senior keeper Andrea Fansano had 0 saves in the win. Meredith Markle made 14 stops for Shippensburg.

The Panthers return to action this Wednesday, September 17, for their first conference game of the season at Molloy College at 3:30 pm.
