Lowell, Mass. - The Adelphi men's basketball suffered a tough 64-56 season-ending loss to the University of Bridgeport in the first round of the NCAA Northeast Regional Tournament at UMass-Lowell this Friday afternoon. Senior Wayne Nelson was the only Panther in double figures, collecting a game-high 26 points. Junior Thomas McCormack pulled down 11 rebounds along with seven points.

The Panthers, seeded fourth in the tournament, trailed by as much as 11 points in the first half. Marred by turnovers, Adelphi committed 11 of its 19 in the first half alone.
