Garden City, N.Y. - Adelphi dropped a hard fought conference match to Queens College 3-0. With the loss Adelphi falls to 8-16 overall and 3-7 in NYCAC play, while Queens improves to 23-4 overall and 9-2 in the NYCAC. Adelphi came out strong and took leads in the beginning of all three matches, but Queens was able to wear the Panthers down and come out on top.

Adelphi kept all three games close and put on a seven point run at the end of the third game to creep to within five points of Queens before losing. The Panthers dropped the first game 21-30, Adelphi kept the second game close losing by a score of 27-30 and Queens took the third game 24-30.

Adelphi returns to action Thursday, November 6th when they play host to New Haven in their regular season finale. The match will be played at Woodruff Hall and start at 7 pm.
