Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's volleyball team suffered their first home loss of the 2002 season, falling to Pace University, 3-0, 30-23, 30-22, 30-22. The Panthers drop to 9-6 overall, while the Setters improve to 8-7.

Senior Mary Krines led the team with 12 kills along with five digs. Freshman Jessica Haynes and senior Jenna Sweeney added seven kills each.

The Panthers were marred by errors, managing only an .069 hitting percentage on the match.

Adelphi returns to action on Wednesday, hosting Dominican College at 7:00 p.m.
