Women's Tennis Edges Dowling, 4-3

The Adelphi women's tennis team won four matches, dropping three on Tuesday afternoon against Dowling College at the Hamlet Country Club. The Panthers remain perfect in the NYCAC with a 3-0 record. The Golden Lions drop to 5-1 overall, 2-1 in the NYCAC.

Junior Rositsa Bartovska led the way with a 6-3, 6-1 #1 singles victory over Kristina Filz. The team of Bartovska and junior Tashi Sharma were also victorious in #1 doubles action.

Sharma won the #2 singles in three sets. The first set went to Dowling College after a 7-4 tiebreaker. Sharma took the second set, 6-4. The third set went to another tie-breaker, which Sharma won , 7-3.

Adelphi returns to action on Thursday, hosting Molloy College at 4:00 p.m.
