Garden City, N.Y. - Junior forward Jamie Douglas registered 21 points along with 12 boards to lead the Adelphi University women's basketball team to a 98-58 conference win over Bridgeport University, Tuesday night at Woodruff Hall. The Panthers improve to 2-0 and 1-0 in the NYCAC. The Purple Knights fall to 1-2, 0-1 in the conference.

A total of four Adelphi players scored in double digits. Sophomore Jesse Dlabola collected 18 points along with three assists and three steals. Junior Kerri Kirschbaum added 12 points while freshman center Carlyshia Hurdle had 11 points.

The Purple Knights were led by Mandy Lezcano with 21 points and eight rebounds.

Next up, the Panthers head to C.W. Post on Tuesday, December 3. Tip off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
