Adelphi Women's Soccer Blanks Concordia, 4-0

Bronxville, N.Y. - Four different players scored as the Adelphi University women's soccer team defeated host Concordia College, 4-0, in a Sunday afternoon conference match-up.

The Panthers improve to 10-0 on the season and 6-0 in the NYCAC. The Clippers fall to 1-5 overall and 0-1 in the NYCAC.

The Clippers kept the Panthers scoreless throughout the first half. Junior Karen Sulinski put Adelphi on the scoreboard in the 48th minute of play. Junior Domonique Riccardo gave the Panthers a 2-0 lead on an assist from junior Jennifer Garone in the 65th minute.

Junior Luciana Pace registered the third goal for Adelphi on a pass from Riccardo late in the second half. Senior Jessica Meyer tallied the game-winner in the 85th minute, 4-0.

Junior goalkeeper Andrea Fasano had one save. Concordia's Kathryn Mickaliger had 10 saves.

Adelphi returns to non-conference action on Wednesday, hosting West Chester at 4:00 p.m.
