Kara Tancredi is entering her first season as an assistant coach for the Panthers, after a brief stint as the Student Director of Basketball Operations for Adelphi Women’s Basketball in 2012-2013. She joins the staff after completing her undergrad with a Sports Management degree in 2013. In 2013-2014, Tancredi was the graduate assistant of Adelphi Equipment and Purchasing as she pursued her master’s degree.
Her responsibilities include coordinating recruiting visits; manage team travel, scheduling and daily operational and administrative duties.
While pursuing her undergrad at Adelphi, Tancredi played in 46 games, scoring 450 points with 229 rebounds and 55 steals. Tancredi is en route to a Master’s of Science degree in Sports Management, with expectations to graduate in May 2015.Â
She currently resides in Oceanside, NY.Â
