James Panetta opened up his collegiate indoor track season at the Metro Coaches Invitational on Firday, January 7th at the New Balance Armory Track and Field Center in New York City. The freshman competed in the 3,000m run and posted a time of 8:49.02 to place third. For his efforts, he was named the Northeast-10 Rookie Track Athlete of the Week for the week of January 9.
