Vani played a part in two new school records for the swim team at the ECAC Championships, as she set a new Adelphi best in the 100-yard butterfly, breaking her own best mark from the 2014 ECAC Championships. The Garden City, N.Y. native clocked in at 1:02.22 on Saturday, good enough for a top-25 finish in the event finals. Prior to her individual mark, the women's 200 yard medley relay consisting of Vani, Kelly Whelan, Emma Breiner and Emma Brown clocked in on Friday with a final time of 1:53.43 in the first event of the weekend to finish in 11th place. The quartet broke a three-year record of 1:54.06.
