Fakas was named the NE-10 Championship MVP on Sunday after helping the women's tennis team to a second straight championship title. In the championship match, the junior teamed with Karen Serina to win first flight doubles 9-8(2) followed by a 6-4, 7-6(7) victory in first flight singles.
