Gotterbarn and the Panthers kicked off the 2016-17 season over the weekend, competing at the Kutztown University Baker and Team Invitationals. In Baker play on Saturday, the Panthers posted a 2-2 overall record and a pinfall of 4,727 to finish in third place overall, with Gotterbarn earning a spot on the All-Tournament team behind a scoring average of 20.61. On Sunday in traditional play, she posted a 204.4 average to finish in seventh place overall, posting a high score of 249 to help the Panthers to a win over St. Francis (Pa.). On Monday, she was named the ECC Bowler of the Week.
