Vani drove in 10 runs throughout three games last weekend that included a .500 (6-for-12) batting average. Among those hits were two home runs and a double to account for a 1.083 slugging percentage. He also added four runs scored and 21 putouts with a 1.000 fielding percentage. On Monday, the junior was named NE-10 Player of the Week.
