Gomez averaged 19.3 points per game in a 3-0 week for Adelphi, setting two career highs in total points in the process. On Monday, she netted a career-high and tied a team-high with 19 points (7-of-12) in a 72-58 win over Goldey-Beacom, before breaking that mark and setting a new career-high of 24 points in an 84-70 (2OT) win over Bloomfield on Sunday. Gomez helped Adelphi rally from a nine-point halftime deficit against Bloomfield and carried the Panthers in the first OT period, tying the game twice and scoring 7 of the team’s 9 points. She also added 15 points (6-of-7) in a 69-39 win over then #21 Queens on Wednesday.
