With three starts and three wins last week for Mapes, she improves to 4-5 overall this season. In 21.0 innings, she scattered 14 hits and allowed just one run, striking out 11 along the way. The sophomore threw two shutouts; the first against the University of New Haven with just four hits and the second in their first contest with Saint Rose, allowing six hits. In the series finale against the Golden Knights, Mapes allowed her only run of the week, which was unearned. She was recognized as the Northeast-10 Confernce Pitcher of the Week on Monday.
