At the ECAC Pre-Season ChampionshipsMichael Mayer shined as an individual, picking up two top-15 finishes. He managed a time of 2:19.01 in the 200 yard breaststroke and 4:26.68 in the 400 yard individual medley, which earned him 15th place in both events. He helped his team to a ninth place finish on the weekend.
