Konkel was named the Most Valuable Player in the Northast-10 Conference Championship fot softball over the weekend, after her heroics in an eight-inning semifinal victory for Adelphi. Konkel homered and also drove in the game-winning run in the semifinals for a career-best three RBIs in Adelphi's 5-4 win over SNHU, and made two sparkling defensive plays in the final inning of Adelphi's 3-0 final win over Pace.
