The Panthers posted a 1-1 record on the week, defeating New Haven 1-0 and then playing Saint Anselm to a 1-1 draw. Keeper Sam Whitney made eight saves and recorded the shutout over New Haven and then made six stops against Saint Anselm. To date, she has an 8-1-3 record, four shutouts, 54 saves, a .63 goals against average and a .871 save percentage. For her efforts, she was named the NE-10 Goalkeeper of the Week; her second such weekly nod.
The women's soccer team most recently pulled out a late victory on Tuesday, October 22 at Le Moyne, 1-0. They have two remaining games left; Saturday, October 26 against Merrimack at 6pm and Wednesday, October 30 against AIC at 7pm; both games will be home on Motamed Field.
