Zach Terzano

Zach Terzano, a four year standout for the Adelphi University swim team, enters his second season as an assistant coach.

At Adelphi, Terzano held the title of team captain for two season and was named Team MVP three times. He holds three program individual records (200 free, 500 free and 200 individual medley) and had a hand in setting four relay records (200 medley, 200 free, 400 free and 800 free). A four-time NCAA 'B' Time qualifier and five-time ECAC qualifier, Terzano was also a two-year member of the Long Island Aquatic Club National team.

Terzano's extensive coaching experience precedes his days as a Panther, dating back to 2007 when he began giving private lessons and working as an instructor at Echo Park in West Hempstead. Since then, Terzano has served as a swim instructor for Adelphi Campus Recreation, the head lifeguard at Veterans Park in East Meadow, and occupied a two-year position as head swim coach at Averill Park in Elmont.

A 2012 graduate of Adelphi, Terzano earned a Bachelor's degree in physical education and is a certified New York State Physical Education Teacher. He currently resides in West Hempstead, N.Y.
