Bethlehem, Pa. - The 43rd annual Paul Short Run featured six college and two open racesamong others on Saturday in which the Adelphi University cross country program was represented in the Open and Brown races.
The men's team claimed 24th place in the Brown race while the women's group tallied 38th place.
Michael Grady led the men's side with a 5:07 pace throughout the 8k course to finish in 25:23 for 37th place. Grady's older brother,
Sean Grady, accumulated a time of 26:04 for 128th place to be the second Panther across the line.
A 6:17 pace on the 6k course allowed
Nicole Julian to lead the Brown and Gold in 171st place behind a 23:26 clocking.
Nicole Elarde finished seven seconds behind to claim 180th place.
Looking ahead, the Brown and Gold next compete on Saturday, October 22 in North Easton, Mass. for the Northeast-10 Conference Championships.
