2013 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Tennis Championship Report
North Andover, Mass. - Adelphi University men's tennis senior
Andreas Hammar was named to the Northeast-10 Conference All-Championship Team, it was announced on Sunday.
Hammar won three of four matches between the opening and Semifinal rounds of the NE-10 Championship. A staple at top flight singles and doubles, Hammar won 6-1, 6-2 in singles play and paired with
Bryan Kallenberg for an 8-6 victory to lift Adelphi to a 5-2 win over fourth-seeded Stonehill College in the first round. He and Kellenberg then won again by an 8-6 score in first doubles play against top-seeded Merrimack before the Warriors defeated the Panthers 5-2 in the Semifinals.
Hammar and the Panthers await a potential bid to the East Region tournament which will be announced during the Division II selection show on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. at NCAA.com.
