Women's Soccer Ties West Chester, 0-0 In Double OT

Garden City, N.Y. - The Adelphi University women's soccer team received their first tie of the season 0-0, Wednesday afternoon at Stiles Field. The Panthers maintain a record of 10-0-1. Westchester sustains a record of 5-5-4.

Adelphi University suffered their first draw of the season with a final score of 0-0 in front of a crowd of 100. Both goalkeepers were great with Ryan Levine accounting for 13 saves for Westchester and Andrea Fasano of the Panthers totaling 8.

Josephine Coiro and Luciana Pace both had four shots on goal for the Panthers. By the end of the second period both teams were exhausted. The game ended in double overtime as night fell.

Next up for Adelphi is Philadelphia, October 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Stiles Field. This is homecoming weekend for the Panthers so they will definitely be ready.
