Quarto was named the Outstanding College Athlete of the Year in both his junior and senior years. He was elected the Most Valuable Player in his sophomore year and is also a part of Flambeau, the Men’s Honor Society in 1958. Part of the 1,000 point club ranking just 6 points ahead of fellow inductee, James Grant, with 1,200 total points. Quarto is also among the top 10 in career free throw percentage with .809.
