Sidorenko transferred to Adelphi from the University of Virginia in her junior year. Sidorenko had a stellar career and became an integral part of the women’s soccer team. In 1993, she was named a First Team All-American, as well as a First Team All-Northeast Region selection in both 1992 and 1993. In 1993, she was named Adelphi’s Junior Athlete of the year.
Sidorenko helped the 1992 Panthers to a 15-3-1 record, a #3 national ranking and a second-place finish in the NCAA Division II Tournament. She was also a part of the ECAC Championship team a year later.
During her time at Adelphi, Sidorenko also played on the women’s basketball team. Knee injuries shortened her 1993-94 season, but she returned the following year and was second on the team in rebounds (233), assists (58) and steals (60).
