Adelphi University Athletics

After his service for the Israeli army, Schneider joined the Panthers in 1975. He helped his team advance to the NCAA Tournament three times and collected their highest finish his freshman year. He captained the team throughout his four years and was selected as the team MVP three times. Schneider was also recognized as the Adelphi Male Athlete of the Year award for the 1978-79 season. He was an All-New York State selection and a three time All-Metropolitan Conference selection as well.
