Diamond competed in the 220 yard low hurdles, 440 yard dash and numerous relays. En route to his win at the junior Metropolitan AAU 440 yard intermediate hurdles title, he broke the 21 year old record with his performance. Diamond was also a part of the winning class mile relay team at the Penn Relays.
