Dowdy is the all-time leading scorer at Adelphi topping the list with a total of 1,897 points in 104 games, for an average of 18.2 points per game. He was a second team All-District/Region selection, NYCAC Player of the year, two-time All-NYCAC selection, and an NYCAC All-Tournament team honoree. In addition, he holds numerous records including a game high record of 16 field goals made, first in career field goals (730), field goal attempts (1,526) and steals (244). Dowdy is also in the top-10 in scoring average, free throws, free throw attempts, minutes played, and blocks.
